Pittsburgh Poker Open Main Event (Day 2): Trott’s Out the Door on the Bubble

Level 17 (4000/8000/1000)

Total PPO Main Event Entries:  141

PPO Main Event Players Remaining:  16

PPO Main Event Average Chip Stack:  352,500

James Trott played some amazing poker this weekend.  Unfortunately, he could not dodge the river and bubbles at 16th.

Trott survived his all-in shove with A♥ Q♦ against Jared Palmer’s 3♥ 3♠.  He caught Broadway on the river to take the hand from Palmer.

Flop:  6♥ 5♦ J♦

Turn:  10♦

River:  K♣

Shortly after the hand with Palmer, Trott was in a betting war with Roy Kramer after an action flop.  Trott survived his previous all-in, but he could not make it through this one with pocket Ks.  Kramer landed his flush draw on the river, causing Trott to fall just short of cashing in the PPO Main Event.
