PNIA Main Event (Day 2): Slow Going At The Final Table

Level 20 (8,000/16,000/2,000)
Total Entrants: 122
Players Remaining: 9
Average Stack: 542,000

Stan Fudor has boosted his stack over the last few levels and his over 600,000 for the first time during the final table.

Since Frank Poerio’s elimination, play has slowed down for the first time since the bursting of the money bubble. Most players have stayed relatively the same stack-wise, with the exception of Stan Fudor who has climbed over 600,000. Fudor rivered a straight flush against Mark Bowersock and raked in a decent size pot as a result.

Players who are in need of a double include Bill Reilly and Brian Guenther who are both under 20 big blinds. Play will continue until the end of Level 20, at which point there will be a 60-minute dinner break. It will be interesting to see if the pace of eliminations picks up before then or if we find ourselves in for the long haul in the Rivers Poker Room.
