PNIA Main Event (Day 2): 7th Place – Ben Anolik ($7,633)

Level 23 (15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entrants: 122
Players Remaining: 6
Average Stack: 815,000

6th Place: Ben Anolik ($7,633)

As noted, Ben Anolik was on the short stack after the elimination of Brian Guenther and hit the rail and would need a double to climb back into contention. With the new blinds, there was even more pressure on Anolik and he soon crumbled after a great run in this event.

Anolik moved all-in for 225,000 from the hijack and found a call from Mark Bowersock in the cutoff. Anolik was hoping for a race and saw he was dominated with his 4♣4 trailing the 6♣6 of Bowersock.

The 653 flop was the perfect action for Anolik, giving him straight and flush outs but the 3 left him reduced to catching a straight flush. The 9♣ on the river was a blank and the Rivers Poker Room favorite took his exit.

Bowersock is now up to 850,000 and comfortably in third place behind Stan Fudor and Zachary Mullennix.
