PNIA Main Event (Day 1B): Six-Figure Territory And Going For Speed

Level 9 (600/1,200/200)
Day 1B Entrants: 85
Total Entrants: 117

Players with over 100,000 chips are becoming more common by the level. There are still five full levels left in Day 1B, but the likelihood of finding a bag is growing for a few players who are above the century mark.

Most players are in search of their first “main event” victory but a win in the Poker Night in America Main Event would actually be the second title of that status for Steven Gurney-Goldman. The 25-year-old took down the Hollywood Poker Open in Grantville last April for $29,000 and hs currently over $138,000 for career earnings. A cash here would mark Gurney-Goldman’s first at Rivers and raise his status among tournament players in this region.
His look might make him incognito, but Dolphy Garricks’s play has done plenty of talking so far on Day 1B. After misfiring on yesterday’s bullet, Garricks has wasted little time spinning up his stack to the six-figure mark so far today. The Floridian currently only has cashes in his home state but that item seems highly subject to change in the immediate future.
