PNIA Main Event (Day 1A): Slow Growing, But That Is Expected

Level 2 (100/200/25)
Total Entrants: 11

The field is gradually building in the early going here on Day 1A of the Pittsburgh Poker Open Main Event. Given the deep structure and length availability of late registration, we expect to see more players trickle in as play becomes more meaningful.

That slow growth early in Day 1A shouldn’t be a cause for concern for players trying to estimate just how big this field and prize pool should get. With a 40,000 chip starting stack, many players will be utilizing the late registration feature of this event.

As the player pool continues to increase, the Rivers Poker Room blog will be tracking this field throughout the day and will return shortly with a look at some of the players who have chosen not to exercise their late entry option.
