Level 11 (1,000/2,000/300)
Total Entrants: 32
We noted that one final player registered for Day 1A during the dinner break and that player was none other than Kane Kalas. All players who are in today’s flight and playing in the Poker Night “Cash Game” have been featured so far on the blog and we would be remiss to not include Kalas.
Kalas takes care of most of his business on the other side of Pennsylvania but has made it over to the western part of the state this weekend. Over the past few months, Kalas has become a regular voice on various poker live streams and may hop behind the microphone again this weekend. That is still to be determined, though, as with over $1,100,000 in career live earnings, Kalas is among the favorites to run deep in this event.
Like many of the other players we have featured, Kalas has had his fair share of tournament success but, has yet to win a televised event. Kalas came as close as possible to achieving that task in 2014 when he took second in the Borgata Poker Open Main Event. It only seems like a matter of time before Kalas gets that victory and this PNIA Main Event is as good of a time as any to get that breakthrough.
