PNIA Main Event (Day 1A): Filling In The Blanks

Level 12 (1,200/2,400/400)
Total Entrants: 32

Most of the Day 1A field has been featured to this point, but there are a few players who have fallen through the cracks and just now getting their due on the Rivers Poker Room blog.

Jim Garr has quietly chipped up throughout Day 1A and is close to the 65,000 mark. Garr won a Pittsburgh Poker Open event in March and has a few other final tables to his name. All told, Garr is nearing the $20,000 mark in career tournament earnings and a cash in the PNIA Main Event would put him over that hump.
James Hoy has been picking up chips at a gradual pace as well and recently crossed over the 100,000 chip barrier. Hoy has made four Pittsburgh Poker Open final tables but has yet to cross the final hurdle and step into the winner’s circle. Given the quality of Hoy’s Day 1 so far, he may soon be moving his way into victory lane.
