While tournament play is obviously the highlight of the Pittsburgh Poker Open, the cash game side of things is soon to heat up with the arrival of the Poker Night in America “Cash Game.” The televised cash game will be running on Saturday and Sunday with a single session set to played on each of those days. The seven-handed game is currently filled with the exception of an open seat reserved for satellite winners.
Two satellites for the $25/$50 cash game will be running tomorrow, 11/16 at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Registration is currently open and limited to the first 20 players. The winner of the $1,100 satellite will carry their winnings over to their cash game seat while others who place will receive a cash prize.
The winner of the 1:00 pm satellite will play in the first session on Saturday at 12:00 pm and the winner of the 6:00 pm qualifier will play in Sunday’s 12:00 pm session. Minimum buy-in for the cash game is $5,000, regardless of what the first place prize for each satellite ends up being. For all up to date information, follow @RiversPokerPitt on Twitter.
