TRPC (Day 2): Two Eliminated To Set The Final Table

Level 14 (2,000/4,000/400)
Total Entries: 56
Players Remaining: 10
Average Stack: 280,000

Connor Arlia comes into the final table of the TRPC Main Event with a big chip lead and will look to tee off on his opponents in pursuit of the title.

The last two levels saw play stagnate slightly, but in rapid succession, two players hit the rail and the final table has been reached.

The first elimination saw Mark Bowersock hit the rail and move Connor Arlia up to almost 800,000. After a flop of KQ4, Frank Guerra checked to Bowersock who moved all-in for 69,000 into a pot of about 50,0000. Arlia called after getting a count of Bowersock’s stack and Guerra got out of the way. Bowersock’s pair and flush draw Q10 trailed the set 4♠4 of Arlia. Bowersock picked up additional outs on the J♣ river but was eliminated when the river bricked out.

On the other table, Tim Berkey’s run met its end. Berkey raised to 10,000 from the small blind and called all-in for 83,000 more after Dave Serkoch raised enough to put him in from the big blind. Berkey’s A10♠ was dominated by Serkoch’s AJ♣ and Berkey was eliminated after the board ran out king-high.

Play has been paused to redraw for the final 10 seats which will be posted shortly.
