TRPC (Day 2): Connor Arlia Increases Chip Lead

Level 12 (1,200/2,400/300)
Total Entries: 56
Players Remaining: 16
Average Stack: 175,000

Chip leader Connor Arlia has kept up his strong play from Day 1A and is over 500,000 in the early stages of Day 2.

Connor Arlia came into Day 2 of the TRPC Main Event with a sizable chip lead and has done nothing but continue to build so far today.

Arlia has won mostly small pots, but recently took a nice chunk of Greg Brletich to further increase his stack. Arlia opened from early position to 8,000 and received calls from Brletich on his direct left and Frank Guerra on the button. The three checked around the 6♥6♣4 flop before the K hit the turn. Arlia bet 12,000 and only Brletich called.

The 8♠ hit the river and Arlia bet again, this time for 35,000. Brletich didn’t look happy to call and his hesitation was confirmed when Arlia rolled over AA♣ for a winner. Breltich flashed a king before mucking his hand. With the setback, Brletich drops to under 125,000 while Arlia is now up to over 500,000 and will look to accumulate more chips here on Day 2.
