After coming back from dinner as the short stack, Dave Serkoch’s TRPC Main Event is officially at and end. In his final hand, Serkoch opened the action with an early position limp that was enough to bring Frank Dellaria and Greg Brletich in before Connor Arlia raised the action to 35,000. Serkoch then moved all-in for 155,000 total and after two folds, Arlia found a call. Serkoch was dominated as his 9♠9♦ was up against the 10♣10♦ of Arlia.
Serkoch was able to improve to a gutshot straight draw by the J♦10♥2♣K♣ turn but could not improve further on the river and hit the rail short of another Rivers Poker Room Main Event title. With the pot, Arlia climbs even farther up the leaderboard and now sits with 910,000.
With Serkoch’s elimination, Greg Breltich is the new tournament short stack with 240,000, but with 30 big blinds, he still has plenty of play left in his stack. All players remaining are now guaranteed at least $3,911 but all have their eyes on the first place total of $17,111.
