TRPC (Day 1A): Travis Hartshorn Hits The Rail; Connor Arlia With Almost Half Of The Chips In Play

TRPC Main Event
Level 10 (800/1,600/200)
Total Entries: 19

Despite being chip leader for most of post-dinner break play, Travis Hartshorn endured a massive downswing that culminated in his elimination at the hands of Connor Arlia. Hartshorn got his chips in with the best of it holding 8♠6♠ on a 7♠4♠2♠ board against the 4♣4 of Arlia. The turn ran clean for Hartshorn but the 2 gave Arlia a full house to send Hartshorn to the rail.

That pot moves Arlia to over 450,000, giving him nearly half of the chips in play with Robin Miller, Frank Dellaria and Frank Guerra all hovering near the 100,000 chip mark. It will be interesting to see if Arlia decides to attack the shorter stacks at the table or coasts into Day 2 with what will likely be the largest stack from the two starting flights.
