PNIA Main Event (Day 1A): Deeb Deepest, Leading Stacked Lineup

PNIA Main Event
Level 11 (1,000/2,000/300)
Total Entries: 112

Mike Crispeno might be in the toughest seat in the house, with three stacked and experienced players to his immediate left. He’s done well thus far though, playing 230,000, good for second best in this Day 1A flight.

We’ve hit a slow stretch of play at the Event 30 final table, as the players are all working deep stacks and everyone seems to be walking on egg shells because of the relatively steep pay jumps over the next few eliminations. That’s given us a chance to make our way around the Poker Night in America Main Event tournament area, where a handful of big name players are pacing the field.

Shaun Deeb, who we opened our PNIA Main Event coverage with, looks like the biggest stack in the room. He’s playing just under 270,000 and another sizable stack is to his immediate right, as Mike Crispeno is playing 230,000. Matt Glantz, who bubbled Event 30, is to Deeb’s immediate left and to his left, is Nicholas Immekus.

Immekus is working 205,000 and leading the PPO Points Championship leaderboard heading into the final weekend of the series, so it’s safe to say that that lineup could produce some serious action over the next few levels. Across the tournament area, Joey Couden, who’s notched podium finishes in PPO Main Events in the past, is playing 220,000 and Jake Sung is working 175,000 to round out the top five.

Updates from the PNIA Main Event will come throughout the rest of the night but the main focus of the PPO blog will remain on the Event 30 final table.
